1. Program eligibility and approval
Participation is subject to application review, email verification and acceptance of these terms. Varion may approve, reject, suspend or terminate an account to protect customers, the program or the Varion brand.
2. Standard and custom partner terms
The standard public offer is 20% commission for 12 months per referred customer. Selected affiliates may receive a different percentage, duration, payout threshold, eligible-product scope or commission cap. The terms shown in the affiliate dashboard govern future eligible payments for that affiliate.
3. Attribution
The standard referral cookie lasts 30 days. Unless Varion approves a correction, the first valid affiliate receives attribution. Attribution is saved when a new customer registers. Existing customers cannot be reassigned automatically.
4. Eligible net payments
Commission is calculated on eligible net payments after discounts and excluding VAT, refunds, chargebacks, promotional credits, free trial tokens, internal test payments, fraudulent payments and excluded products.
5. Commission period
The standard period begins on the referred customer’s first successful eligible payment. Custom terms may use another duration or a lifetime period. A change to an affiliate’s rate or duration does not silently recalculate commissions already created.
6. Pending period and payouts
Commission normally remains pending for 30 days. The standard minimum payout is €50. Payouts are processed monthly by available methods shown in the dashboard. Varion may hold a payout while investigating fraud, refunds, chargebacks or incorrect payment details.
7. Refunds, chargebacks and reversals
A refund or chargeback reverses the related commission. Financial records remain visible in the ledger. If a reversal occurs after payout, Varion may offset the amount against future commission or request repayment.
8. Taxes and invoices
Affiliates are responsible for their taxes, registrations and invoices. Affiliates must provide accurate legal, tax and payout information and cooperate with reasonable accounting requirements.
9. Prohibited conduct
Self-referrals, fake accounts, misleading claims, spam, trademark misuse, unauthorised paid-search bidding, cookie stuffing, impersonation, incentive abuse and unlawful promotion are prohibited.
10. Required disclosure
Affiliates must clearly disclose their financial relationship with Varion near affiliate links or promotional statements, for example: “I may receive commission if you purchase through this link.”
11. Brand and claims
Affiliates may use only approved marketing materials and must not guarantee savings, quality, uptime or financial results. “Up to 60%” may only be used with the eligible-workload and results-vary qualifications.
12. Privacy and tracking
Referral tracking uses a referral code, campaign information, timestamps, limited technical data and a referral cookie. Customer information displayed to affiliates is masked. Affiliates must handle any information they independently collect in compliance with applicable law.
13. Program changes and termination
Varion may change future program terms, close the program or terminate an account. Earned and valid commission will be handled under the applicable terms, subject to reversals, fraud review and legal obligations.
14. Liability and governing terms
The main Varion Terms, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and applicable governing-law provisions also apply. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Varion is not liable for indirect or speculative affiliate revenue.
