How do I integrate?

Change the OpenAI SDK base URL to https://api.varion.tech/v1 and use a Varion API key.

Is a fixed savings percentage guaranteed?

No. Varion publishes only repeated paired benchmarks, and savings vary by workload.

Who pays OpenAI?

The customer uses its own OpenAI key and pays OpenAI directly.

What does Varion charge?

Varion sells fixed prepaid packages based on customer input tokens processed. One credit covers 1,000 input tokens, and failed provider requests are not charged.

Do you store prompts?

Normal request logs store metadata, not prompt or generated-answer content. Test results store metrics only.

Can Varion make an answer worse?

Any context reduction has risk. Varion preserves critical instructions, tests strategies and can use passthrough when unverified.

Which provider is supported at launch?

The commercial launch focuses on OpenAI-compatible traffic.
